The Short Answer
Brooke Reyna was Jacob Batalon’s publicly confirmed girlfriend in 2021. She is not his current partner.
Batalon later became engaged to Veronica Leahov in March 2025. Reports in July 2026 confirmed that he had married Leahov.
Anyone searching for “Brooke Reyna” is therefore looking at a past relationship, not a current one. The rest of this article keeps that timeline clear.
Who Is Jacob Batalon?
Jacob Andres Batalon was born on 9 October 1996 in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Filipino parents.
He attended Damien Memorial School in Honolulu, graduating in 2014. He then studied music theory at Kapi‘olani Community College before leaving that course.
He later completed a two-year acting programme at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
His acting debut was as Cooper in the 2016 film North Woods. His breakthrough came the next year as Ned Leeds, Peter Parker’s best friend, in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017).
He went on to play Ned Leeds in:
- Avengers: Infinity War (2018)
- Avengers: Endgame (2019)
- Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019)
- Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)
He later took the title role in the Syfy series Reginald the Vampire (2022–2024) and played Roscoe Dixon in Novocaine (2025).
Jacob Batalon and Brooke Reyna: What Is Confirmed
Batalon himself described how they met in a WIRED interview in December 2021.
He said they met on a night out, by chance, when he was not looking for a relationship. His words were that she “kind of just popped into my life” and that they were then together.
The relationship became public on Instagram in March 2021. The couple also appeared together around the London premiere events for Spider-Man: No Way Home in December 2021.
That is the confirmed core of the story:
- Met: on a night out, as Batalon described it
- Went public: March 2021
- Publicly together: through 2021
No exact date for when they first met has been publicly confirmed, and this article does not invent one.
What the Old Article Got Wrong
The old article mixed together different claims, dates, and people. The following points have been corrected or removed:
- They did not meet in college and date from 2016. Batalon’s own account says they met on a night out, and the relationship became public in 2021.
- Brooke Reyna was not confirmed as a model, actress, yoga instructor, or YouTube creator in this update. No reliable source found for this update supports those job claims for Batalon’s former partner.
- She did not have a confirmed small role in The Last Jedi. That claim has been removed as unverified.
- The San Antonio model biography has been removed. The old article described a Brooke Reyna born in San Antonio who modelled for major fashion houses and debuted in a film called The Race in 2018. No reliable source found for this update shows that biography belongs to the same Brooke Reyna who dated Batalon, so it is not repeated here.
- Batalon was not born in the Philippines. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Filipino parents.
- His birth date was not 18 September 1990. He was born on 9 October 1996.
- His first film role was not in Without a Paddle: Nature’s Calling (2009), The Dark Knight Rises, Grown Ups 2, or Don’t Breathe as listed in the old article. His debut was North Woods in 2016, followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2017.
- He did not star as Eugene “Eug” Lee in a series called Way Back When. That credit does not belong in his verified filmography and has been removed.
- His height is not stated here. The old 5 feet 9 inches figure appeared inside the same incorrect biography block and was not separately verified for this update.
The Nivine Jay Claim: Not Confirmed
The old article also said, in a different section, that Batalon had been in a relationship with Nivine Jay since 2016.
That claim is not repeated as fact here. No reliable independent source found for this update confirms a Batalon–Nivine Jay relationship, its start date, or its status.
Readers should not treat Brooke Reyna and Nivine Jay as the same person, and should not merge their timelines. They are separate names from the old article, and only the Brooke Reyna relationship has the public confirmation described above.
What Happened After Brooke Reyna
Batalon’s later, confirmed relationship is with Veronica Leahov, an architectural and interior designer.
Key dates:
- Engaged: March 2025, after a New York City proposal
- Married: 2026, confirmed in reports published on 31 July 2026
Details of the wedding ceremony itself have stayed private. This article does not claim a specific ceremony date or venue as confirmed.
This later marriage is the reason the old headline, written in the present tense, is now outdated. Brooke Reyna belongs to an earlier chapter of Batalon’s public dating history.
